Volunteer Groundskeeper & Technician
Clackamas County Historical Society is looking for volunteers to help maintain the grounds and buildings of the Museum of the Oregon Territory and Stevens-Crawford Heritage House. This opportunity is easily adjustable to your interests, skills, and abilities. Duties include, but are not limited to:
Light maintenance i.e. changing light bulbs, plumbing repairs, spot painting, etc.
Knowledge of lighting, HVAC controls, alarms, and equipment.
Monitor landscaping
Visitor Services Volunteer & Front Desk Attendant
We are seeking friendly visitor services volunteers to work at the museum's front desk. This position will include:
Greeting visitors and answering questions
Selling admissions and gift shop merchandise
Answering the phone
Entering historic collections materials into database (if desired)
We are also looking for volunteers who can fill the following roles:
Collections/Research Assistant
Maintenance
Museum of the Oregon Territory Docent/Tour Guide
Special Events
Communications & Fundraising
Landscape and Gardening
Museum Front Desk Greeter
Museum Education
Stevens-Crawford Heritage House Historic Interpreter
